NOREG will not take part in the upcoming WESG World Finals due to visa issues, Morten "zEVES" Vollan has revealed.
In a Twitter post, the 26-year-old explained that the team "did not have enough time" to obtain visas to participate in the event, which is set to start on Tuesday.
NOREG, who had qualified for the WESG Finals after finishing top 12 at the European regional event, become the third team to pull out of the $1.5 million competition, following the withdrawals of Ukraine and EMC.
The Norwegian side and EMC had been drawn in the very same group, which is now down to just two teams, MAX and ORDER.
Meanwhile, Morten "zEVES" Vollan Christensen revealed that NOREG will attend the BYOC qualifier for the upcoming Copenhagen Games event, which will take place from March 28 to April 1.
Noreg will not participate in WESG World Finals in China this coming week due to VISA problems. This would have been a great event for us but unfortunately we did not have enough time. On the other hand, we will travel to @copenhagengames instead. I hope you'll support us there👊
